Drosophila Troponin-H

Drosophila Troponin-H exists as two closely related isoforms (referred to as #33 and #34) which are produced by alternate splicing of the TmII gene. Isoform 33 is slightly larger than 34 (517 aa vs 503 aa). Both isoforms contain the first 257/285 residues of the adult body wall muscle Tropomyosin. The remaining sequence encodes a repetitive, acidic and proline-rich tail domain.
