Welcome to the World Wide Web (WWW) server of the EC thin filament research network ("FILnet"). This site is intended as a repository for documents/ images/ movies and data which you wish to share between network members. The site is currently being built by
Jon Clayton (you can use this link to send email comments/queries, if this breaks down for any reason, the address is: clayton@EMBL-Heidelberg.de).
As the interests of the network are so diverse, the topics have been divided up into broad interest groups eg.
- Administration
- Information about each lab along with all the network reports and summaries that you (& I) have lost by now.
- Drosophila
- Information mainly of interest to the Drosophila geneticists. Including (hopefully) a series of direct Hyperlinks to FLYbase entries and other assorted servers.
- Sequence
- Working sequence files including information about unpublished variations from the normal database entries and pointers other references.
- Structure
- 3D structural information including images and movies of your favourite molecules and links to entries in the structural databases.
- Filament Overview
- Hopefully a consensus about thin filament structure will grow as our work proceeds - this will be updated at least after every meeting. So if you have any ammendments or corrections to make to the model, or just new data illustrating how things fit together please don't forget to deposit them.
- MEDLINE
- Text files containing the results of medline searches for all of 1994.
